This course examines the history and life skills needed to be a successful nail technology professional, the basics of anatomy and physiology, along with the principles of infection and sanitation. Topics included are professional image, skin and nail structure and growth, and nail disorders and diseases. Also discussed are the basics of chemistry, specifically related to nail products and the essentials of electricity and equipment safety.
