| THM 1214 - Massage Therapy Pathophysiology |
This course focuses on the nature and causes of diseases which result in functional or physiologic changes in the body. Psychosocial conditions will also be addressed. Signs and symptoms, prognosis and treatment will be discussed with consideration to complementary therapies and indications/contraindications for massage therapy. PREREQUSITES: THM 1211 Massage Therapy Anatomy/Physiology I or LSC 2111 Human Anatomy & Physiology I and THM 1212 Massage Therapy Anatomy/Physiology II or LSC 2112 Human Anatomy & Physiology II or consent of instructor. |
