This course introduces completion methods, equipment, and procedures used to drill a well. Topics include the well servicing and workover industry, perforating, liner and packer settings, reservoir characteristics, formation evaluation, formation testing, cementing practices, completion design, and completion tools and fluids. The course is designed to provide an introduction to completion methods for technicians and operators.
