MAC 2232 - Advanced CNC Training

The major emphasis of this course is the programming and operating of computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools. Laboratory experiences include writing and editing programs. Students will produce parts on both CNC milling machines and lathes. Also, the student will incorporate CAD-CAM. This technology eliminates the need for the CNC programmer to master the traditional M and G codes and dramatically shortens CNC programming time. PREREQUISITE: MAC 2231 Introduction to CNC.
