JUS 2240 - Traffic Administration

This course provides an overview of the principles and practices of traffic administration within the field of criminal justice. Topics include traffic law enforcement, accident investigation, traffic flow and control, roadway safety, and the role of law enforcement agencies in reducing traffic-related incidents. Students will examine the causes of traffic collisions, methods of enforcement, and the use of technology and data in traffic management. Emphasis is placed on promoting public safety, understanding legal and ethical considerations, and developing practical skills relevant to traffic supervision and control.
