Students assist in providing clinical care under the direction of a registered nurse, physician, or other medical professional. Provides students with applied knowledge of working as a member of a health care team performing clinical procedures that include taking patient histories and vital signs, preparing treatments, and conducting diagnostic tests. Course enrollment restricted to Medical Assistant program majors only. Students are highly encouraged to complete this course immediately prior to Clinical Procedures II.
