This course was designed in combination with EPF 2203, EPF 2206, EPF 2207 and EPF 2209 to prepare individuals for the Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal (OSFM) Level: Fire Officer I. Students planning to submit an examination request for the Fire Prevention Principles exam will be required to meet Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal (OSFM) eligibility requirements. Topics covered include building occupancy, building construction, fire protection systems, content combustibility, developing a pre-plan, and performing an inspection. PREREQUISITE: EPF 1204 Firefighting Applications.
