CMT 1260 - Mining Problems

This course acquaints students with problems of management in the day-to-day operation of a coal mine. The union, management relations, grievances, and contract disputes are discussed. Responsibilities and duties of management and hourly employees are examined. One-half to one credit will be awarded each time student successfully completes the course. Total number of credits that may be applied to a degree shall be four credits.
