CMT 1250 - Mine Ventilation

This course is designed to instruct the student in the importance, terms, and operation of a coal mine ventilation system. A logical progression of ventilation procedures from surface installations through main intake air courses, face ventilation, and main return air courses of an operating mine. The student will also be instructed in the state and federal laws governing ventilation of a coal mine. One-half to one credit will be awarded each time student successfully completes the course. Total number of credits that may be applied to a degree shall be four credits.
