This course is an introduction to computers and their applications. Topics include computers and their capabilities, computer equipment, and software. The educational, social, and vocational aspects and impact of computers will be discussed. Applications of computers will be emphasized by utilizing various software packages in laboratory exercises. These exercises will be completed in open lab.
