Program Overview:
The Medical Receptionist certificate prepares students for employment in an office setting within a variety of healthcare organizations such as hospitals, medical offices, and durable medical equipment companies. This certificate gives students the skills to work with electronic medical records, including scheduling patients and entering patient demographic and insurance information. Students will also be trained in the management of medical records, following HIPPA guidelines, including form completion, record transfer, and document importing.
