|RAD 1201 - Introduction to Radiography|
This course will familiarize students with terms, positions, anatomical structures, anatomical relationships, movements, body planes, radiographic terms, imaging equipment, organization and operation of an x-ray department, basic principles of x-ray protection and biological effects of x-ray, and a historical perspective of radiology. These topics will be covered in greater detail in other courses. This course will also cover the anatomy and positioning for the chest and abdomen. PREREQUISITE: Admission to Radiography Program.
