PNC 1213 - Practical Nursing III

This course focuses on basic needs of a person throughout the life cycle in order to maintain optimal health. This course progresses from simple to moderate alterations in basic needs and growth and development throughout the life cycle. The activities of the nursing process are used to promote and maintain wellness and restore to optimal health. Learning experiences in various healthcare settings are correlated with classroom and nursing laboratory instruction. PREREQUISITES: PNC 1211 Practical Nursing I, PNC 1212 Practical Nursing II, LSC 2111 Human Anatomy & Physiology I, PSY 1101 General Psychology I, and current CPR Certification.
