LSC 1104 - General Zoology

This lecture and laboratory course is a non-majors course emphasizing inquiry through selected topics in animal biology. Surveys of the protist and animal kingdoms based on evolution, ecology, morphology, histology, physiology, taxonomy, parasistology, and embryology. Economic, environmental and medical relationships between protists, animals, and humans are emphasized. No college pre-requisite but students are expected to have a basic understanding of high school general biology.
