|ISS 2200 - Database Support|
In this course, students will first be introduced to the concept of the relational database and the Microsoft Office Access relational database application and its information management tools. Students will then learn how to design and create a new Access database, customize database components, and share Access data with other applications. Students will learn how to use a variety of complex query techniques, create more efficient forms and reports, and create and use macros to automate their forms. In addition, students will gain experience with Internet-related features, including hyperlinks and the Web toolbar. Students will learn how to develop an application and tie the objects together into a cohesive system by using macros and Visual Basic for Applications code.
