GAD 1201 - Computer Graphic Fundamentals

The course introduces the individual to graphic design using the computer. This course develops a technical understanding of how the operating system and design software interact to influence the development of computer art from a visual perspective. Further emphasis is placed on developing a fundamental understanding of industry standards, page layout, illustration, and photo alteration software (e. g. PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop). PREREQUISITE/CO-REQUISITE: ART 1113 Introduction to Drawing or GAD 1213 Drawing I or consent of instructor.
