MLT 2201 - Immunohematology

Introductory course into the theoretical principles and procedures of immunohematology and those applications relevant to the clinical laboratory. Clinical correlations including quality control testing are included in both the lecture and laboratory. This course provides essential overview information, as well as, the opportunity for developing technical competencies in blood banking needed by the clinical laboratory professional. PREREQUISITES: Grade of C or better in MLT 1201 Introduction to Clinical Lab, and MLT 1202 Serology/Immunology.
