Introductory course into the theoretical principles and procedures of serology/immunology and those applications relevant to the clinical laboratory. Clinical correlations including quality control testing are included in both lecture and laboratory. Included in this course are simulated phlebotomy experiences. This course provides essential overview information, as well as, the opportunity for developing technical competencies needed for clinical rotation and for those entering the medical laboratory profession.
