This course introduces the student to both classroom and hands-on instruction. Topics include search and rescue, installed systems, salvage and overhaul, ventilation, water supply, fire hose, and fire control. This course is designed in combination with EPF 1208 and EPF 1203 to prepare individuals for the Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal (OSFM) Level: Basic Operations Firefighter certification. Students planning to submit an examination request for the Basic Operations Firefighter Module B exam will be required to meet the OSFM requirements.
