The course is a supervised teaching and caregiving experience for children ages 0-3. The student teacher/caregiver will demonstrate skills of educational planning, providing effective classroom discipline, and motivational techniques for teaching young children. One credit hour is equivalent to a minimum of 75 hours of supervised work experience. PREREQUISITE: Student must have completed or be concurrently enrolled in 12 semester hours of credit in the corresponding discipline.
