This course offers a comprehensive study of infant and toddler development (birth to 3 years), focusing on the seven ITC content areas. Students will examine the specific needs of infants and toddlers across various childcare settings. The course will cover curriculum development techniques for infants and toddlers (preparation, designing, and early interventions). The course addresses the unique challenges of teaching infants (birth to 12 months), older infants (12-24 months), and toddlers (24-36 months), including children with developmental and physical disabilities.
