Illinois Eastern Community Colleges District invites applications and nominations for the position of President of Frontier Community College. IECC is a multi-college district located in rural southeastern Illinois with four colleges and an administrative office: Frontier Community College at Fairfield, Lincoln Trail College at Robinson, Olney Central College at Olney, and Wabash Valley College at Mt. Carmel. IECC is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Each of the four colleges is staffed with a Dean of Instruction who reports to the college President. The President reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer of the District. An elected Board of Trustees governs the District.
PRESIDENT OF THE COLLEGE: The President is responsible for the overall operation of the college and for providing the vision and leadership to fulfill the educational mission of the District.
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree from an accredited institution, with preference for an earned Doctorate or progress toward completion; three years or more of successful administrative experience in post-secondary education or equivalent with responsibilities for budget development and accountability, resource development, hiring and managing personnel, forming and directing a management team, strategic planning, and developing new educational markets through traditional and non-traditional instruction and emerging educational technology. Salary range is $115,000 to $125,000, with excellent fringe benefits.
